Hotel Stebbins started life as the Ahnapee House in 1857 and has always operated as a hotel. In later years, the restaurant and bar were added to create what is now Algoma's only full-service hotel. Built by Charles Lewis Fellows at a time when there were only 4 framed buildings in Algoma, The Ahnapee House was built from materials shipped in from Racine, Wisconsin. Our group of 24 Louisiana LSU fans had the entire hotel this past four days for the football game in GreenBay. It was Great, everyone made us feel welcomed and the food and the bar were excelent. The staff treated us like friends not guests. Algoma is a wonderful town and just what some Louisiana people needed to get away from our hot wet drenched State for awhile. We will be coming back when the Saints take on your Packers in the future! Maybe we will even win the game. Thanks for making us Algomanites!
Not to impressed. Waited over an hour when told it'd be a 15-20 minute wait. Then told that it'd be another 45 minute wait. Oh and the bartender named Dawn was pretty cranky.
