Hotel Stebbins started life as the Ahnapee House in 1857 and has always operated as a hotel. In later years, the restaurant and bar were added to create what is now Algoma's only full-service hotel. Built by Charles Lewis Fellows at a time when there were only 4 framed buildings in Algoma, The Ahnapee House was built from materials shipped in from Racine, Wisconsin. Bad soggy fish like it had been steamed for hours during shanty days the redfish was particularly poor fishy tasting like it had been frozen For a while A lot more attention needs to be paid to the detail and quality of the food offerings In addition the drinks were weak and watered down...
clean, great staff, amazing supper club cuisine and within walking distance to a lot of great places in Algoma!
Great food, drinks, and prices. The bar upfront was crowded at 9 when we left.

love this old fashioned dining room. it's like stepping back in time to a serene eating experience...great tasting food with wonderful selections to choose from and it won't rob your wallet with high prices!
They fry all if their food in the same oil as the fish, so if you have a fish allergy, don't eat here. Our table seemed to be cursed or something. We got our food late and didn't see our server for over half an hour. Had to ask for our dessert from a completely different server. The dessert took a long time to come out and one of the dishes that was supposed to be warm was cold. Spent over an hour and a 45 minutes here and more than half of that time was spent waiting.
