Not too authentic Japanese style room. Was hoping for tatami style (seen in some pics) but apparently whole hotel no longer has those type of rooms. Room and bathroom need renovation. Bathroom is using traditional Japanese style with tub and shower all enclosed in the same room but the look and feel did not provide the effect. Rather it gives out the claustrophobic feel so I didn't take a bath nor a shower on my 1 night stay there. Elevator needs to be replaced, felt like it's going to go out of order anytime soon. The best fitness center I've been in when staying in a hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional.
Our favorite San Francisco boutique hotel! Beautiful views, quietly elegant decor, Wonderful staff. Also near boutique shops, Dosa restaurant & a cinema! We stayed in the same room every year.
Excellent bang for your buck. A little expensive for parking, but I got a great spot that I could see from our room. Cherry Blossum Festival was just a bonus!
