Happy Thanksgiving! Being from out of town, we were a little apprehensive eating out on a holiday night. There was no need to worry. The entire staff was amazing. It was overflowing but the line flowed flawlessly. The food was superb and the wait staff friendly and efficient. Thank you for making us feel at home on such a special day! Great Job

We went for the first time to Hoover's today for their Thanksgiving lunch. Got there at 10:45am and were seated right away. Folks that arrived at 11am probably had to wait 40-60 minutes. The service was slow this morning. Our order was taken around 11:30. By the time our entrees arrived, it was probably Noon. The cornbread arrived with the entrees. The food is delicious. We drive up from San Antonio to eat here. The Jalapeno Creamed Spinach was fantastic and we love the sweet potato biscuits. Also, the sweet potato pie is the best I've ever tasted, and I was raised in Mississippi. We highly recommend eating here.

Since I've been in the ATX (23yrs), Hoovers has always been an exceptional place. The taste and flavors are spot on! Southern hospitality at its finest �. The staff are very professional. I ate there 2 days in a row and am bringing the kids his Saturday.
Has outstanding BBQ even though it is not a BBQ joint have eaten it three days in a row all fresh. Keep up the good work!!!!
The food smelled good and tasted great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were six in our group and only one side was not as expected. The restrooms need a lot work.
