In 1973 the idea for a healthy place where the local community could shop was shared between the Iles and the Hoover Families. The dream was realized when the families' bought a warehouse in a developing part of Altamonte Springs, and Economy Health Foods was formed. Over the years, the store and our services have expanded. We now offer organic produce and in-store cafe. The name has changed to Hoover's Market, but the founders' mission to have the best products at the best prices is still the driving force.
