In 1973 the idea for a healthy place where the local community could shop was shared between the Iles and the Hoover Families. The dream was realized when the families' bought a warehouse in a developing part of Altamonte Springs, and Economy Health Foods was formed. Over the years, the store and our services have expanded. We now offer organic produce and in-store cafe. The name has changed to Hoover's Market, but the founders' mission to have the best products at the best prices is still the driving force. omg, I had the vegan turkey/bacon/kale/tomato sandwich yesterday and it was divine!! I'll definitely be swinging by for more of those!
I love the store!!! However I feel as though waiting 15-20mins for a single sandwich to be made is simply to long. I've been coming here for the past few weeks consistently for 2-3 weeks and it's now to a point where I no longer want to go and get lunch due to the 20mins I must wait before ordering my sandwich... I think this area could use a little more attention...
This is my favorite store of all time! The wholesomeness of this store is so refreshing. Organic and locally supported farmer's. Not to mention the best juice bar around. Last but not least the lovely and always pleasant staff. I wish there were more Hoover's Market's around town.
One of our favorite places! We've been coming here for over 5 years now and we feel and are treated like family!
