Bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle here. Had problems within a week. The vehicle needed a new Air Conditioning System and the actuator on the passenger side door needed replacement. After spending a lot of $$$$. Mr. King, the GM, was very difficult to deal with, and told me he legally didn't need to do ANYTHING to make it right by me. Thank goodness for the warranty, because these guys were not going to make it right by me. Buy your car somewhere else. Save yourself the hassle.

I think there are plenty of independent mechanics who do better work and charge more reasonable prices. On my most recent visit, they quoted me hundreds of dollars for routine maintenance and it wasn’t even clear that any of it was necessary.

My husband has not owned a new car since the 70's. My friend recommended Honda of Oakland. We came from Santa Clara to get the car. Auzy, Francis, James & Manny were awesome. We got a fair price with the payments we wanted. We got the process started on line and it made the wait so much less than anticipated. The whole transaction went smoothly. My husband and I recently helped our daughter buy a 2017 Honda Civic from Honda of Oakland. She is a college student at a nearby university in San Rafael, however, we live in New York State. Went to Honda Service center on Monday for a simple oil change. After waiting 4 1/2 hours my car was returned to me with a crack in the windshield. Spoke to manager of service department he denied denied denied. Spoke briefly to GM Todd King who said he would call me back by the end of that day or next day. Still have heard nothing after making 2 calls myself and a email. I did though receive a random missed call from Mr. King at 11:30pm.
