Extended stay America in ****************** was a very negative experience. 1. Room was not ready at 3:30pm when we arrived. The initial room was never cleaned from previous occupant yet we were given the room by the Asst GM. The GM happened to be on the same floor and saw the room. Another room was assigned. 2. After getting into the new room we had to leave and came back late that same night. After getting in late and traveling that day we were exhausted. I stayed at the Extended Stay Amesrica Hotel from September 8-11 and it was the mot HORRIFIC stay I have ever had. When I requested for my room to be cleaned I was told that because I wasn't staying for a week then I had to clean my own room. In addition to get new sheets and towels I had to bring the current sheets on my bed down to be washed and the dirty towels to exchange for clean ones. When we arrived we was greeted with friendly staff. We proceeded to the room. My daughter and myself were walking down the hallway where we passed a man. At that time we didnt think anything about it. He was 2 rooms down from ours. We then noticed that he would be standing outside of our room like he was listening to our conversations. This was possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. My girlfriend and I checked in the hotel was about to lay down for the night , she pulled the covers back and the sheets had blood stains on them. I informed the front desk about this and he told me I can come down to the front desk and get new sheets and change them myself or I can change rooms. This hotel left my husband, my daughter and I without a room for the night. They did not honor my reservation I had made a month in advance. I showed up at 4:30pm and they informed me they were booked! I notified them I had a reservation and he said they did not have any rooms! He asked for my name so that they could cancel my reservation and not charge me! They were still going to charge me!!!! We travel very often and I had never had this happen. The Extended Stay America in ********************* location. I was staying on a corporate account working in the area. I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. People staying in the facility live there full time, do not work and are up all night. People coming and going all hours of the night. As I moved things the fist day, went out for dinner-came back to find window screen partly off, someone had tried to brake in. This location rooms did not match the photos on this website and even within the photos on the ******* page. The photos are outdated and this location dose not contain loft rooms or suites.
