the phone representative from Homeserve was very helpful and a repair man for our hot water heater contacted me that day. The people they had come to the house were very good and the hot water replacement was completed in a very timely manner

I contracted with HomeService for interior plumbing in July 2020 , I had a major leak in my basements a call to HomeService immediately had a local plumber contact me to schedule the service . Resolving the problem of the leak was easy and without any problems.

Home Serve got right on our case of internal water leaking from a bathroom above our living room. The water was dripping through the plaster ceiling in the living room. I called Home Serve and they indicated that someone would be back to me in the next 4 hours...some one called 1.5 hours later. That contractor could not get to us until the following Monday (called on Friday); they did tell us to call Home Serve again to see if someone could come today. The Code 1 Electric electrician was not very helpful, he was dragging his feet and had a bad attitude. Did not communicate with me properly, he forgot to put back the cover of an outlet in my garage. So I had to call him back the next day (taking time out of my busy schedule), he said it was due to the sensor for the light, he should have told me that the first time he came. Early August 25 (before 8 a.m.) I reported a leak to Home Serve. The leak was located between my house and the water meter. A plumber came that afternoon, but all he did was confirm that I had a leak. He said that someone would have to come and mark the exact location of the leak. I was given the impression that that would be in a day or two. It wasn't. The leak was reported on August 25; it was not repaired until Wednesday, September 2. Excellent and prompt service. After placing a call for a small water main leak on Sunday, a contractor was out the next day to check the problem. They needed a leak detection company to locate where the leak was which they scheduled Then they returned to make the repair. The contractors were professional from start to finish. I kept waiting for Home Serve to contact me about a loop hole in their policy to not cover the repair but they never did. Glad I had decided to buy this policy. Well worth the investment.
