Initially I got no contact from the first group of contractors from ServiceMagic, but once Home-Kim was asigned I got a call within hours, they came out and quoted me the next day, and the job was complete within a week. Very nice people, good job, and reasonable rate.

Good communication. Showed up when scheduled (both estimate and install). Only negative was that when installing the storm door he left the glass door on the grass while the installer prepared the area. It was a sunny day so the grass got a bit burned.

I replaced the siding on my entire house after some storm damage. I did a fair amount of research about siding and got bids from three contractors. Suffice it to say that Home-Kim was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. They even had to make some mid-course changes when some surprises were found when the old siding was removed. The quality of the work was great and the price was fair and reasonable. The project was performed as described, on budget, and with high quality. I would recommend this contractor (Home-Kim Group, Inc.) for similar projects in the future if asked. Incidently, the project consisted of replacement of aluminum fascia covering (2.5 stories above ground) and repair of vinyl siding that was precipitated by the replacement of a corroded electrical box by one that was two inches smaller). The estimator, Mr. Adler, and the technician, Mario, were professional, competent, and personable.

I will first say that the quality of the work done was very good. They replaced my old damaged aluminum siding with vinyl and replaced my old gutters. They worked quickly and efficiently and used (as far as i can tell) good practices and materials. However I would not use them again because of communication. I had to call numerous times after sending my deposit just to find out when they were coming, each time being told someone would call back but no one did.
