Very prompt and professional.
did a good job on the shed roof. Would have liked not to have nails poking through as the original did not. Asked for an estimate on other work, person did not show at appointment.
Salesman first suggested complete roof replacement before assessing roof leak but never got on the roof. Decided to have immediate problem fixed and defer full replacement. Installers came out to start job but had no matching shingles in spite of my prior call to ask if the correct color was communicated. I was told installers had a variety of shingles on the truck (wrong). Contracted start-by date was missed. Multiple commitments to call me were missed. Mr. Kim responded quickly to my inquiry and did a fantastic job on the siding I need replaced due to damage from hurricane Sandy. The job was completed a couple of days ahead of schedule. Mr. Kim came out and inspected the work himself before billing me for the balance of the payment due. I felt the price he charged was fair and I plan to hire his company for other work around my home.
WARNING! Customers are warned against using Home-Kim Group, Inc as a vendor. Your use of this company is at your own risk. The Co. misled me in their ability to complete a simple project. Although the Co. new they could not deliver a product, they order mismatch material and tried to convince me to accept trim not IAW HOA. Additionally they destroyed my house by removing the trim above the window exposing the wood to the elements leaving me with the bill, & refuse to return all of my security deposit costing me $1,000s of $$... read more

Customer's project was to replace rotted wood features around windows and door. He approved sample of non wood material and jointly ordered features from catalog. As features were being installed, customer did not want to proceed. Alternatives were offered but refused. After negotiations, his deposit was refunded less restocking fee.
They did a great job--efficient and cost effective! Our rep Ken was quick to correct one issue and he followed through via calls and email, which was greatly appreciated! Will use them again for sure.
I met with Ken for a quote and he was smart, open and friendly about the work I needed done to replace the shutters on my house. The quote provided was right on the spot and ended up being half as much as the next company that I met with. After providing the down payment I never heard from him.
