I adore Dr. Holmes! He is very knowledgeable and is an accomplished surgeon, but nevertheless very humble. Plus his sense of humor is a breath of fresh air. I never feel rushed during appointments and appreciate that he gives blunt and honest information but lets you decide if and when you want to do surgery. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Holmes since 2016. He performed full knee replacement on both my knees one year apart. He improved my quality of life 100%. I now do the yearly follow ups and everything has been great! He is one of the best at what he does. His staff is also amazing.
Dr. Holmes recently performed a knee replacement on my 83 year old mother. He did and amazing job and was incredible in his moral support and encouragement during her recovery. He is an outstanding doctor.
Dr. Holmes is an awesome and caring surgeon. I was in a great deal of pain in my right hip. It was bone on bone and impacting my mobility. He completed my THR and had me pain free with no restrictions in five weeks. I was so afraid to break the 90 degree rule, but he had me tying my shoes at the five week visit! I have been seeing Dr.Holmes since 1990s, he is a doctor that goes way beyond to take care of his patients, i wish all of the dr's i see would have his professionalism the staff in the San Antonio office are amazing with the same professionaism thanks for all you do. Blessing
I was referred to Dr. Holmes for total knee replacement surgery. His office staff is excellent. He performed my first knee replacement and provided great follow up through the initial process. I had my second knee replacement one year later and had great results overall. At the one year follow up of my second knee he had concerns about a comment I made about my recovery and did xrays of my lower back to confirm what he thought was a contributing factor to the problem. He is an excellent doctor.
Doctor Holmes treated my 77 years old mother by completing bilateral knees replacement within a year of one another. The Improvement is 75% better and getting stronger with each PT session. I'd go back to him blindfolded. Can't ask for a better Doctor and Staff!!!
