Dr Holmes has replaced both my knees and both my hips. The 1st in 2010 and the fast in 2019. He has also repaired both my rotator cuffs. In these 6 operations I have not had one issue or problem with any of my replacement parts. I am now 75 years old and still going strong. Positive Experience. If you want a direct honest opinion go see Dr. Holmes. He is straight to the point with what he thinks about your injury. He takes the time to answer questions, offer options, and provide top notch care. He has an on-line library of video's and literature that further explains your injury to help you make an informed decision. I had limited mobility in my shoulder with constant pain. I'm a 62 year old female and play tennis 3 times a week or so. In February of 2020, it became clear to me that if I wanted to continue having an active life, it was time for a replacement. Dr. Holmes and his staff offer highly professional services; their treatments and services are excellent. I was wheelchair bound for 4 years and had tremendous hip and knee pain. I found the wheelchair highly inconvenient so I tried walking but had frequent falls. Dr. Holmes replaced both knees and my left and right hip joints. I’m extremely grateful for the awesome job Dr. Holmes did with both of my Total Knee Replacements (TKR). Dr. Holmes & his staff kept me informed as to the process from start to finish. My first TKR recovery went well and at 8 weeks I was back to work with no restrictions! The second TKR went even smoother than the first. I suffered from knee pain from a golf injury in January. I had a torn meniscus and had surgery for that in March with a different doctor who didn't bother to tell me that I had bone on bone. After many shots and discouragement with my progress, I went to Dr. Holmes who did a knee replacement on Sept. 24. I am 6 weeks out from surgery and back to normal. Has his mind made up about you before you can open your mouth. Doesn't listen. Told me my knee would get out if i walked a mile. Been couple of years still working my ranch and walking those miles he assumed i never walked. Found a doc to give me rooster comb injections that he had a fit over when i asked. His cortisone shot never helped me. He told me it did help me. Like i said he doesn't listen.
I saw Dr. Holmes on 6/28/21 for my one year follow up after total hip replacement. I had a great recovery and a great surgeon! I’m so glad I decided to take care of my hip in a timely fashion. Many thanks and much love to Dr. Holmes for taking good care of me. His entire staff are professional and attentive to the patient’s needs and concerns.
