As a nurse, it is my hope the staff documented, documented, and documented the changes in resident conditions, fluid intakes, vital signs in the extreme conditions, and all notifications to the physicians, administrator, and nursing director. So, before our anger leads to finger pointing and placing blame, let the health department do their investigation. My prayers to the families and staff enduring this tragedy and prayers for the elders who passed.
Wow! Instead of evacuating your clients in the face of a category 4 hurricane it would appear that you prefer they die. That's quite disgusting. Whoever it was that was responsible for the decision to ignore the evacuation order at the facility should be charged with negligent homicide. I anticipate that the wrongful death civil suits will bankrupt your dangerous and inhumane company. If there's a God, there's a special place in hell reserved for you.
this is where 8 innocent elderly people died. Yet a hospital was across the street. Hope this place never reopens
They murdered 6 people. Plain and simple. The owner, management and staff should all do prison time
Shame on you for having these poor elderly suffer like they did. You should all lose your licenses.
