Pictures misleading. Room is in bad condition... I couldn’t even open the patio door myself....sink fixtures feel like they are falling apart. Old... dingy. Fire alarm went off at 9Am. I evacuated with my family using the steps. No one had any idea what was going on. No urgency! I can’t even believe the other reviews on this site.
RecommendedThe staff is very helpful,. very impressed with the Manager walking around the outside Area asking guests how there visit was going.
We booked our room months in advance only to find out a day before our check in that they overbooked and gave our room to someone else after we already paid. Thanks Holiday Inn!
This was our first stay here and we loved it definitely recommend this place. We plan to stay here again in a few weeks!!!
Wonderful place to stay.
What a wonderful family vacation! The staff was super nice and very helpful. The Square Whale drinks are yummy (Jack Coladas are awesome) but the server we had for dinner at Square Whale did not pay attention to us and forgot some of our order. Bartenders were right on! The view from our room was nice. Pools are great for families! Cons: elevators are very slow, hallways are very hot and restaurants are very crowded. It would be nice to have complimentary breakfast at the Greenery as it is pricey.
We just got home from a 5 day 4 night stay. We absolutely loved the hotel. Our room was perfect and a lot bigger than expected. The views were breathtaking. Everything was very clean. The indoor and outdoor pools made the hotel 5 stars for us! Super kid friendly! The hotel had 3 restaurants which included a pool side bar. We ate at the square whale for dinner one evening. Group trip to Virginia Beach and we stayed at this hotel. This is our third time staying at this hotel. Good food and the service was good. AJ and Michigan went out of their way to make our stay great. Despite a few problems with replenishment of wash cloths in the room and issues at check in, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Only criticism would be the elevators are slow.
