We had a great meal, we all enjoyed it , will stop in again when in the area
Good was great. Prices reasonable. Great service. Restaurant was clean. The potatoes and onions were a disappointment. Potatoes were deep fried with fried onions tossed in. I was expecting fried potatoes. Ribs and brisket was off the chart.
Smoked wings. Brisket. And don't get me started on the pork. Awesome EVERY SINGLE TIME
My husband and I came by on Saturday. He had been a half dozen times before and this was my first. I love the small town feel of the place and the quaintness of it all. Having the game on the TV before we walked in was awesome while we ate. He got the Pulled Pork Potato Skins and so got the Trifecta Wings: half Spicey Teriyaki and half ?Bourbon. Both flavors were rich and delicious. We will certainly be back!

Hokie Smokie is the first place I recommend to people when they’re in search of good barbecue in the Tri-Cities area. Not only do they have excellent barbecue - their side options are delicious too, all generously portioned. Chuck and his staff are all super friendly and very accommodating! Eating at this restaurant is guaranteed to be a good experience and I promise it will leave you excited to come back and eat there again and again.
Kinda rude and inconsiderate not to show empathy to their patrons as well as taking part of the community. The owner of the company doesn't want to take the time but to earn whatever overprice buck to anyone. You are better to save your money then to deal with the ignorance of the employees and the owner.

Please help me understand what you mean by not taking part in our community. We have given to charities, local schools, local ball teams, March of Dimes, Susan Komen, ETSU, Science Hill, Sullivan South, Veterans and many others. This month September 17 we have given to three different charities here in Johnson City, not counting the ones in Kingsport.
