ZERO STARS FROM ME. yes, everything has changed with new owners. previously BBQ was the best in JC, but now its dry and not NEARLY as good. tried it once after ownership changed, have not gone back. high ratings are related to old owners.
RecommendedI ordered them through Bitesquad and the ribs with bourbon bbq sauce were AMAZING! The fried okra was also delicious. I will DEFINITELY order from here again!!
Everything changed, sadly used to have the best Philly Brisket Sandwich. Also used to have excellent friendly service. Hate to be harsh, but last visit was the last visit... food was way way below par. The fella that waited on us tried his best, but obviously very little to no help from management, if there is any.... It’s not the same place....👎🏻
This used to be my go to for great smoked wings, good brisket, and dining atmosphere. It was terrible service, cold bland food, and I am sorry to say just a horrible dining experience overall. So sad our regular servers and bartenders also were all let go. We used to keep going because of them and the great dining atmosphere they provided. Now they are gone it won’t be the same.
If you are looking for goos bbq this is the place to go!! Fold was delicious. Service was great! Can’t wait to get back

This used to be my favorite place... always got the hokie smokie spud with brisket. We used to get the brisket and wings catered to us for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ever since they've gotten this new owner the brisket is trash and the portions have gotten considerably smaller. Service used to be awesome but now it's just awful. Food comes out cold. Nothing good to say about this place anymore. Congrats to the new owner on killing this place within a couple months of taking over
I went to eat here with my parents for my graduation, I ordered the fried mushrooms with ranch for the appetizer & it was delicious!!!! My parents ordered the new prime rib sandwich with okra and collard greens. I love this place and would try it again !!�� 10/10 would recommend!
