Really disappointed this was one of my favorite places to eat. Ordered a brisket sandwich when it arrived to the table it was more like a pulled pork with a side of cheap french fries not like the good ones you guys used to have. At first I thought maybe I scewed up and order a pulled pork sandwich and i was hungry so I ate it. When the bill arrived to table it was a brisket. Guys brisket should never be tough. Always great food and service. The smoked ribs are the best I’ve ever had!!
I am highly disappointed in the changing of the recipes by the new owner. We went for dinner the other day to try it. The Wings were excellent...and it stopped there. The new bbq sauce was a horrible tomato sweet version that needs work. the ribs were over cooked. I ordered Tri-color potato salad only to be served a plain mayo covered nothing special potato salad. Stacie non of what you just posted about the restaurant is true at all we hate you had a band experience but none of the recipes have been changed or has anyone bought the name. If you would like to come back for a better experience please let us know but nothing in regards to any recipes have changed. The potato salad was out of stock and I believe you were informed of that by our staff. Please let us know how we can make your experience better in the future
The food is amazing but the service is lacking, however. Our waitress did not write down our order and unsurprisingly got my side order wrong. I had ordered fried okra and she instead brought me beans, which I can not eat. I told her and she said she would go put an order in to fix it even though it was obvious she didn’t care what she had done at all. We have eaten at the JC location many times and usually very good. I'm not sure what happened tonight. The service was poor. It wasn't for lack of servers because there was 4 servers and they weren't very busy. The fried pickles were very salty. We mentioned it to our server and she said yeah that happens with the batter sometimes, we didn't finish them.
