Excellent service at the Merry Hill branch, no issues when I had to return a duplicated CD purchase for a refund (they'll have the money back in their till soon anyway once the next CD I'm after comes out next month!). Staff all friendly, pleasant and helpful. Yes the store is a little small and cramped but better that than no HMV!

Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of the new store as it's so long and narrow and the range is definitely lacking compared to the previous store location but as rents are expensive these days, it's better having a smaller store than no store at all!
New store far too small, couldn't see what I was looking for as aisles between items are too narrow had to keep moving out people's way... Also the poster section means you can't look at the 4K blurays as people are standing in the way, also the shelves are right on the floor, I'm only 46 but struggled to get down to look... Still nice to have this type of retailer on the high street though...
