Discriminatory treatment, terrible event organisation, and shockingly rude staff. At HMV Oxford Street’s Spider-Man fan event today, after queueing for over 3 hours, I watched two white customers—including one who had been standing behind me in the queue—be allowed into what staff described as a “photo activity”, while I was singled out, stopped, and told very firmly that I was not allowed to participate. Terrible and disorganised for the Spider Man event today. Waiting in line for hours and not being able to get a goodie bag or experience all of what the event was offering. I am a big Marvel/ Spider-Man fan and countless other people that was there share the same disappointment.
Turned away from the spiderman event after waiting 3 hours. Extremely rude security staff. Badly organised.
