This place always fills me with joy when I come in, I love looking at the record players because I’m a big rap and music fan, the staff are always very kind and helpful, the water bottles by the way are absolutely amazing especially the metal ones, but just in general hmv is 100% my favourite shop.
I ordered a vinyl record of Imagine Dragons When it arrived, of course I immediately went to turn it on and listen to it But unfortunately it was recorded very poorly The music either skips or freezes in one place I replaced it with another in the store And the same thing I came to the store a second time and replaced it with another album But no miracle happened And so on and on the sound was not good I thought it was a problem with the record player But other vinyl records played fine on it
Poor experience on my last visit to this store. Waited nearly 5 minutes at the front of the queue whilst the manager and a customer had a reunion chat at the till about working in old stores and who they knew mutually. Supposedly he is a "good manager" in his own words.... I have no issue with you having a catch up, but at least serve the only other customer in the queue wanting to buy 1 item and then continue your catch up.
