Horrible service! Very rude! Unprofessional staff .
So it took the attending Doctor 4 hours to read an EKG which was done in the first ten minutes. The understaffing in this ER is incredible. I don't understand how this hospital continues to have a great reputation when your dealing with dangerous practices in the ER. HACKENSACK YOU ARE GARBAGE!
The ER is horrendous. Dirty, unorganized, and VERY unprofessional staff. By far the worst emergency room in the area for sure.
Don't think about going to the ER. The worst one in the area. If you are not dead before you get there they will try and kill you while you are there. Disorganize, dirty, no one cares. You can laid there for hours before someone will see you. You ask for a blanket, you are told where you can get one. Not one person in the whole ER has a smile on there face. There is no privacy. I never like Hackensack hospital I always go to Morristown my son went in once cuz his oxygen level dropped he was on life support and they sent him home and said he was okay and on the way home my son almost died the paramedics had to take him to Morristown hospital and my son had a bad-pneumonia and they said how did he get discharge being so sick. I recently had my second child here. The first time was a great experience but this time around was horrible. I'm not sure if they didn't give the attention they should have since it wasn't my first child but I was sooooo disappointed. My OBGYN was trying to talk me into going to Valley Hospital & I insisted on HUMC. The worst part was in the delivery room bathroom, there was blood all over the seat & some on the floor....not from me.
