I have to give u a one star if its my choice u should not have no stars... worst hospital ever... never again....
I have been in HUMC several times through the years. From their Registration Office, ER, physical therapy, hospital tests and stays, I have had only professional, knowledgeable, caring doctors, nurses, and all personnel associated with the hospital. In addition, the food is very good. I think HUMC is GREAT. If I had to find a fault, the parking is pricey.
I had abdominal swelling and my PCP sent me to Hackensack, I am thankful for everyone at the Hackensack hospital from the ER dept to the John Theurer Cancer Center that found my cancer quickly. Where as a month before at a previous hospital/doctors in NC ran some test and sent me away with a Hydrochlorothiazide prescription and a $4,000.00 bill!
I WAS WELL TAKEN CARE OF AT HACKENSACK UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER.
This Hospital and it's staff are head and shoulders above any hospital in the 5 county area surrounding it. This Hospital is truly patient oriented as are all of the Nurses and Doctors. The best of the best.
Went in for surgery about two months ago. The nurses were awesome! They were very attentive and helpful.
