Getting better all the time.
RecommendedIsee all the bad experiences, but mine on the other hand was excellent. I was treated for AML in the old hospital (Pavilion 8) and I had nothing but the best care. Drs. Danato and Riley, Dr. Goldberg and Gua were extremely beautiful ppl. I greatly appreciate everything this hospital has done for myself and family
I will never recommend this place for anything. Had an ultrasound appt at 1 but had to register at 12pm. It is 3:53 and I still haven't been called. First excuse was that there was only one person working, then they said the machines were down, then they said ER patients were ahead of me. I am here to do an ultrasound because my baby at 39 weeks is showing an abnormal growth and can't leave. I am concerned for my baby but if it was up to me I would have left this trash hospital. The best hospital in New Jersey
This hospital has gone down hill. We have been in emergency room since 10pm last night. Nurses do their own thing do not pay attention to patients. You have people coming up to counter asking for help and you have 1 woman saying yeah I got you. Meanwhile she is booking flights on United. This hospital has nothing on Oradell Animal Hospital Maybe they can take human patients. Poor man has been waiting for over an hour for a wheelchair. I HAVE TO SHARE MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT HACKENSACK ER!! MY 4YO DAUGHTER WHO HAS CEREBRAL PALSY WAS DISCRIMINATED BY THEIR DOCTOR BECAUSE OF HER DISABILITIES!!! My daughter was in the ER for diarrhea that day and this doctor, DR. USHA AVVA saw her. When we were discussing about test results, Dr. Avva suddenly asked me what is the long term care plan for her quality life. Never expected this kind of question, got confused what she wanted to ask. If you have a child with disabilities or you are a part of the disability community I do not recommend going to the emergency room here and dealing with Dr. Avva who told a parent of a child with special needs that next time her child gets sick she should just “let her go” and then the hospital proceeded to do nothing. I am utterly disgusted.
