We found this hotel to have character. The furniture in the common rooms were style of 1913. Remodelling of rooms have been nicely updated in 2002. We found the experience quite charming even having a guest book. The menu and bar area was quite to our liking as well. Comfortable. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming

Nice historic place downtown. Great service, comfortable room. Great history and very friendly staff. Restaurant has great food for a fraction on Denver prices. Worth the trip up 25.
Very cool spot in downtown Cheyenne, room was nice and staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was awesome!
Stumbled upon this magnificent old hotel 2 years ago and spent the night. The next morning I toured around looking at all the beautiful new renovations and the historic furniture and paraphernalia. The restaurant serves excellent food including some organics and even organic wine!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. Of course the rooms are somewhat small but it was built in 1911. That is the charm of the place. I liked the old tile floors. There were updated sink fixtures. The original small elevator was slow but again I appreciated the charm of it. I’m glad we stayed there. The street traffic was a little noisy if you are a light sleeper. Staff was very nice.
