My wife used Hine Downing to make a will. Whilst doing so she was advised to change the house from tenents in law to tenents in common so if anything happened to one of us the other would have protection, she was advised that we should make a will separately. My dad used these for his will. Later in life he was after some clarification on a couple of issues he wanted answering, after many calls and emails Teresa said that she couldn't help him. After I called them to make a complaint and explained the situation to John, nicely (one of the founding members) He said that he would look into it and get back to me. Weeks later and nothing. Aviod these at all costs! They just want your money and are not interested in sorting out any issues that you might have.
effing useless, no updates, slow has a new definition, no sympathy and generally don't know if they ever doing anything. wish my folks had never placed their wills with them. 5 months after my mom passed away they still have not started to register the probate application yet i never got any queries on information and i had power of attorney for her, and still waiting on a fee agreement for the estate when my dad died in 2022.........cannot and will not recommend. like a fellow postee, i am only giving one star to make this ... read more
