Absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! – My manager took me to Houston's for Administrative Professionals Day. To prove there was more to me than just a salad, I opted for the Hamburger and French Fries. The Hamburger was great, but the French Fries - All I can say is "WOW!". The fries were thin, crispy and salty - just the way I like'em. I highly recommend fine dining at a great price!

Best food in town..but.. – Everything is great!..but, the hostess is very rude. First of all, we called try to get a reservation, but couldn't & the wait was about 30 min. When we arrived, the wait was now 45 minutes, so we sat at the bar & had very good drinks (and service) there. After about an hour we went to the hostess & we see another group who arrived after us get seated. User review by juzcuz – I must say although I enjoyed the food, it is a little expensive for the portions you receive, their entree's come with one side and no soup or salad. And their wait/hostess staff does leave a lot to be desire.The only bad experience I had is when parties the same size as ours that had arrived after us, but were seated before us. Excellent – Customer Service is excellent - The food is outstanding in taste and presentation. Steaks - Burgers and Salads are great and exceptional portions. Saturday (only) they serve "Firehouse Chili " it is excellent garnished with fresh grated american cheese and onions if you like. The chili is not "FIRE" but rather well seasoned for all taste buds freshly cooked tortilla chips .

THE BEST – This restaurant excels in every area. The service here is what every restaurant should copy. The food is always perfect! Try the ribs, they are delicious! The grilled chicken salad is excellent! My favorite restaurant in town!

Horrible Service & Management!! – I dined at the Kirby location recently towards the end of the night & the staff was rude and the manager was absolutely impolite and unaccommodating. We received our food at 9:55 & the bartender called last call at 10:05. They refused to serve a drink to a friend that joined us and when questioned the bartender was rude about it and the manager was worse. Fantastic Place! – Houston's Restaurant on Kirby is a Houston legend. The food is wonderful, the selection and service is outstanding and this place has one of the best bars in town. They will prepare just about anything you ask for in any way you want. The waitstaff and management (all senior level folks) are great and very accommodating. Try the NY Strip steak (sometimes on the menu and sometimes off, but they will always make one just for you), or the Houston's Hawaian, or...... the list goes on... Great Place!

Simply the best. – Very hard to describe. Order some chinken tenders (which aren't on the menu) and they come with fries. If you're a french fry lover, you'll be in love.
