This should have been a really great place to have a rest. Although after paying £280 for two nights and one day, having your door rapped on at 10.10, a mere ten minutes after check out time (sorry we didnt wake earlier), to be told we need to leave, is extremely disappointing. I wont be coming here again. As a reply, ten minutes late to leave is hardly enough to warrant being told to leave. Went for a few nights Monday to Thursday this week and it was possibly the best place I've stayed in with my family, the lodge was welcoming and felt like a second home with the spacious rooms and bathroom, that has what I'd like to say the best shower ever being overhead, spent the nights in the hot tube enjoying the view of the sunset and hearing the owls. There's also loads of places that's only a few hours drive taking you through the Yorkshire moors for more stunning views.
So peaceful with great lodges and a hot tub
