Unfortunately the cottage did not live upto expectations of previous reviews. The cleanliness of the cottage was not to an acceptable standard as the exterior.
This is a great house with an amazing host. The place is immaculate, very tastefully decorated and everything you need is there. But I t’s the little things that matter on these adventures. We arrived on 25th November 2022 to find a Christmas wreath on the door and a wee tree in the living room. There was plenty of wood for the log burner (Not that we needed it) and something that made us smile - a wee hot water bottle on each bed- again not needed but so thoughtful.
