Cheap and cheerful, thank you very much - I had a big screw stuck in the tyre and close to 7pm - tyre shop came to my rescue
I changed the tires in less than 30 minutes...superfast
This used to my go to place for second hand tyres for my older car when the place was cramped with limited service but offered personalised service with quite a selection of tyres to choose from. Now there is more room, plenty of service options including repairs,body shop and parts,but the service is impersonal,from hired staff and there are very limited selection of second tyres and the new tyres are relatively expensive. I shall be taking my business somewhere else.
Unfair labor charge I had both front wheel bearings changed on my Skoda Octavia. I supplied my own parts, but was still charged £250, which is usually the full price with parts included. No discount was given even though I brought my own bearings, and no clear breakdown of the labour cost was provided. The mechanic himself was a nice and polite guy, no complaints there — but I found the pricing unfair and lacking transparency.
