If I can give any advice to anyone looking to rent a car from this company, you are waiting your time and money to say the very least. I never leave bad reviews, but Ive never dealt with so much bad customer service in my life. What has been the most frustrating part is the amount of hidden fees and the blatant lies on their prices. I had a car rental booked for a Friday morning, I called and changed to Thursday evening, all good there. When I showed up they only could see my reservation for the next day. They could not accommodate me although they had cars that I could go online and rent. To change my reservation they wanted to double the price. The car was available and fine. When I returned it, I left two items on the back seat ( a jacket and a beach towel). I called the next day and was told to call back. I called the next day and was told that they didnt find the items . I said you couldnt miss them. They were on the back seat. Stolen! I dont know if it is the cleaners or not, but I would like the jacket back since it was a gift from my son.
Arrived to pick up my pre-paid car, and initially denied the fuel purchase option. The representative at the counter told me if I purchase the fuel option and bring the car back on empty, it would be my best deal , The car only holds about $40 worth of gas and gas in Arizona at the near by gas stations were charging $6/gal. So I opted for the fuel purchase option, my printed out ticket, highlighted by the young lady, stated " Total Estimated Charges; $62.89". This company (Hertz) will rip you off! User beware!! Use Hertz and you will HURTz!! Robbed me of almost $200 through shady business practices. I found a good price for a rental car booked through ******for $165.64 at Hertz. When I got my bank statement after my trip Hertz charged me $355 to my account. When I called the company they denied owing me the difference citing that I "signed" their contract agreeing to: roadside assistance, extra insurance, etc. etc. This was a lie as I told the employee at the counter that I didn'... read more
The staff were Intentionally slow and do not care about their job. The car Im having to drive while my car is getting repaired from an accident is the worst! It stinks so bad with the smell of smoke. I cant wait to get rid of it ! Also, this morning driving to work in the rain, I discovered quickly how bad the tires were, bald dangerous tires . I tried to call and change out the car but no one answers the Phone ! From now on, I will use Enterprise or anyone else has to be better !
Worst experience ever! Reserved the car online everything was okay until landed in the *******, ** pick up the car at the airport they didn't give me the car because I paid with an Apple credit card and the card itself doesn't have digits on it. I had to cancel the car this trip was for my twin's birthday and we don't have a car! Horrible service from hertz
Their rental return process is different than any rental car Ive used before. I was at the airport and tried to call to make sure my car was returned and I was completely unable to get ahold of anyone to check. Through their digital service, the ************** stations phone was connected to I had to tram back to the rental company to double check. Completely unable to help with costumers
