The only thing professional about this experience was the transportation from the body shop to the Hertz location. Once I got to the location it was a complete mess and completely unprofessional. I walked into the location and no one was at the desk. Everyone was in the back break down talking and laughing. She told me to have a sit which I did. The front waiting area was a mess. Hertz lied about free mileage in their Advertisement. I was told by Hertz representative that I will have unlimited mileage. After I returned the car full of gas as clean as I took it. They now want to charge me for mileage, when they could not charge for mileage after 3 months now they want $500 for detailing the car. The wanna take your money in any way by every mean. Do not rent from Hertz.p

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & CARS. Went to Florida for a family vacation and planned on going to Disney. We spent hundreds of dollars to go to Disney for the tickets and could not go due to our rental car breaking down 2 times. The battery died, someone came and jumped it. Next day, battery died again, someone came to jump it. They said I NEEDED TO GO TO BUY MY OWN BATTERY…they had no other cars to give. I rented a vehicle and called to extend my reservation. I was told an extension was not needed as long as I got the vehicle back by 9 PM. I was told I was only going to be charged $88. She said, after 9pm that I would be charged an undisclosed rate and she couldnt tell me how much the charges would be. Because of this, my husband and I rushed to get the vehicle back before the time she told me I had to be back by. Worst car rental company.. I had a reservation for more than a month .. the day of the rental pick up they told me they dont have cars available!!.. they sent me to different location.. made me a new reservation & charge me extra $500 for was I was quoted on my reservation!! Basically theyre legally robbing people!! Worst experience ever!!

this review for the Hertz Claims department. December 23rd an Amazon driver driving a white hertz van type vehicle ran into our main property gate. As she got out to hand me our package the van started to move. Before she could get back into the vehicle it ran into the gate bending it so bad it won't stay on the track and is laying in the front yard. **Hertz is the worst they are trying to rip me off**Went to pick up my rental that I reserved and they didnt even have the car said they rented it already and thats the problem with people buying in advance. I was unable to get the car no problem but when I called customer service that day on 3/11/2023 they told me **** days for my refund. 11 days later no refund called them and they told me they have no record of me calling said I have to wait **** days for the new refund. Hertz is fraudulent, and they have the worse customer service ever. *******************, the manager at the ********* ************ location in *******, takes his anger out on customers personally, and gives cars that are unfit for driving, to customers he does not like. The branch is full of poorly trained employees, and they honestly need to shut the entire branch down.

Worst customer Service and business EVER. Don’t ever rent from Hertz. I went to see my son graduate from basic. The hotel we stayed at valeted my car and in the middle of the night the lift ended up coming down on the car. The hotel and valet took full responsibility and asked that Hertz called them so the could get the information and pay for the damage. Hertz did care.
