Made a reservation to drop off and pick up at the same location. I tried to correct it online, it wouldn't let me. It kept reverting back to the 1st option. I called corporate and it kept re directing me to the computer but no person. I called the local store and could not get through to anybody. I couldn't get through to anybody. I tried the Internet two more times and it wouldn't let me do it. I am sitting here at the airport with a $120 drop fee to drop off at a different location. I literally drove 20 miles
Harassment for a reservation that was already paid for. Asked for a mailing address and they would not give me one. Have a receipt saying Amount due is $0 but still trying to make us pay $420.xx I would never rent from this company again. There is no one higher to talk to then who you speak too. The car was also in horrible condition the brakes barely worked the car shook the whole entire time we had it.
Hertz is a horrible company and not very professional. They do not even rate a 1 star. If you are renting a car this is not the company to use they take your money and will not give it back. I was given a car that I did not order as they never have the cars that you request ahead. When I got there they had to give me what they had. The guy at the counter said he would give me a credit of 50 per day for 4 days. instead of crediting me for the 4 days he debited me so they ending up adding an additional 400 to my balance. I rented a car from hertz on 9/4/2001 The people gave me a car that just had come in with a few dings on it (they told me that they have Panoramic cameras that took pictures when the cars back so they know). For starters I have contacted them 2 days in a row about this car 1st about the dings and today for the tires. Worst customer service experience of my life. Showed up to pick up my reservation and they didn't have any cars available. Branch did ABSOLUTELY nothing to try to help. Didn't even call another location. Customer service rep on phone didn't speak fluent English and really didn't help. Was told all internal matters a confidential. Will never rent from this company again. Rented from Nashville airport a car that has a horrible vibration and feels extremely unsafe driving. Called the airport 3x the phone rings and no one picks up just disconnects. Had reservation made by my insurance company for compact car as replacement while my car was being repaired. Nasty experience booking a car with Hertz via Kayak. The location is 933 Francisco Blvd East San Rafael, CA What looked to be a straightforward booking of a rental car with Hertz went awry. I searched to be sure there were no cancellation fees. It said there were none. Then I received the booking confirmation which said, "This reservation is non-refundable. On 09/10/2021 we arrived from Burbank, CA to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. We previously made a reservation to rent a car from Hertz through the Price line. The woman at check in was slow, rude, uninformative and unhelpful. We asked for her supervisor and waited quite some time for him. It took more than 40 min. for them to check us in and let us go to pick up a car. Employees like them should never be working with the customers.
