It's fine. The car we got was good and easy to find. However we walked to the car park first to find a sign on the building telling you to go to the airport desk first so bit of a waste of time and the opposite of most of the other suppliers. What is the point of the carpark hut as its not manned? No ability to leave bags there for a short period which would have been the perfect use of the car park building
Rented a car through dollar/firefly. They did not accept my revolut card, even though it is widely used in the republic and has an Irish IBAN. I provided another card, and because it wasn't credit, I was forced to pay the additional insurance, which made the rental cost double. The vehicle also only had 1/4 of the tank, but I was told it would be full and I had to return full. The model also didn't have android auto, only apple auto, even though android is the most widely used OS.
Matt at the Belfast City Airport was professional, friendly and saved me from having to make a very expensive taxi ride. My travel agent had booked my car pick up for Belfast International Airport when I was actually flying into the Belfast City Airport! Matt found me a car that was consistent with what I had booked and gave me a portable GPS to assist me with finding my way. Matt C at Belfast City Airport was super helpful and professional this morning. We arrived early to pick up our rental and it hadn't arrived yet so he suggested we have a coffee and he'll come and get us as soon as the car was ready for us, and that's exactly what he did. He then had us on our way in no time. Highly impressed.
