Took my father to the Emergency Room, when he didn't want to go afraid they'd keep him cuz he thought it may be something severe. He went and the doctor was SO thoroughly that we left with no doubts of it being his heart or lungs. The nurses were so helpful and everyone explained, in detail, what was going on. I was very pleased!!!
I went and seen an orthopedic surgeon had a great visit with the surgeon setup for a surgery date but the surgery date was set for April and this is the first of February and it is so far out because of they are allowed to just to order so much of the equipment they needed for my surgery at one time but I can refer my surgery to the Outsource and have it done outside the VA which will cost VA probably more than it was there which to me seems crazy if they would let them order the equipment it would be cheaper on the VA to do... read more

I received excellent treatment, and everyone treated me like I was important to them.
Happy to say I am back home after my three day stay at the Huntington VA Medical Center. Absolutely the very best care that I have received anywhere. Doctors and nurses were excellent. I can say that with confidence because of my hospital stay in Charleston back in August of last year, not that they were bad it's just that the VA was so much better.
