I get fair and honest treatment. The time frame is better than regular doctors office visits. They take their time and listen to you. I am very impressed with the services ive gotten there so far.
do not believe all newspaper or tv. don't know about all va's, but this one is outstanding. had some medical issues that we had been fighting for several years. many doctors tried and failed. lost my health care "caddy plan" 14 months after going to va, all those lingering problems are gone. they have found some other problems in the early stage and out come looks real good. send me out thru the veteran's choice program, which is a work in progress.
Got there early and used the self check-in and sat there until just before my appointment the clerk came out and said my name. I stood up and was told I hadn't checked it. I explained that I had checked in at 640ish for my 830 appointment. He said no you hadn't checked in, I said I self checked in And pointed to the mechine and he goes oh that doesn't work. Then why is it there? Love this VAMC for sure but sorta wishes they'ed would listen just a little bit more.
THE STAFF AT HUNTINGTON VA DO THE BEST THEY CAN FOR THE VETERANS, BUT ARE OVERWHELMED AT TIMES!! BEST VA HOSPITAL I HAVS EVER BEEN TREATED AT!!
I have had 3 surgeries at the VA got staph infection all three times I want to go somewhere else please let me go
I hope and pray that this v.a. has the portrait of our commander in chief and the v.a. Secretary hanging up on my hospital, if not then I will protest my hospital until they are put up and I will go to the news media over this
