I just read a post about how many people were taken off ventilators and how many improved and were discharged. I have a real hard time this. Maybe the people were not really ready or safe to leave. My brother in law was in that hospital with Covid virus for 4 days. After his breathing got better they gave him medicine for nausea and sent him home. He had not eaten in 3 days while under their care. They gave him food and the food was not touched. They knew he was not able to eat! He went home and died 2 days later. After not ... read more

My 70yr old father with fever & shortness of breath was turned away with out even having a pulse ox taken. He was told they weren’t testing, he could go into the E/R but wouldn’t recommend it. I was told to call the health department and given a number that just rings & rings. Looked up the health department and completely different number. I called Beaumont they told us we could come & they would screen him then give recommendations. They encouraged it based on his age & symptoms. My son was born here this week and all of the staff who cared for him and my wife have been amazing. However the security officers and Er staff that are covering the Er triage tents directly below our window need to be told every conversation they are having can be heard as if they are in the room. Not too mention when the female security officer who was having a problem with her belt managed to fix and decided to cheer at the top of her lungs at 0430 that was particularly fun. I got tested at the westbloomfield location 8 days ago, and no answer about my results. i called every single day to the hotline and they didnt have any answer about the results they dont even know where the tests are going. How is this posible! The last call i made today they told me they might thrown away my test. They have no tracking for individual test.
