This hospital is an absolute joke. We have been in the waiting area for dang near 2 hours, while my fiance is vomiting and passing out from severe pain.. He cannot urinate at all and asks the nursing staff would tell us it's hold tight. while sitting here waiting I've spoken with multiple other people whom are here for chest painsand have been here since three morning time and have yet to be triaged. Lots of employees up and down the halls and very few patient rooms filled. Family members should not be required to advise when IV bags need to be replaced, getting drinking water, responding to alarms on equipment. Isn't that the job of nurses???
My son was a patient here and from the beginning we felt like we were lied to by several medical professionals.. when he left he was given discharge papers that included prescription medications. No prescriptions were given but they said he 💯 needed to be on them ... I would definitely stay miles away from this facility if at all possible. We tried to resolve this with the hospital administrator and the director of nursing to no avail ..
Very sad about the treatment of Dr. Gulish and Dr. Melton and their family. Bad move for HCMC.
very mad about how they are doing heather Melton she is one of the best doctors they have plus the er is always slow and never do nothing to help plp and are rude they keep all the worthless doctors but treat the good ones like heather like crap they need to get their stuff together
RecommendedI had an outpatient right knee scope done on January 30, 2019 and I just have to say that everyone was so very good to me and I could not ask for any nicer group of people to be surrounded by. I was treated so nicely and everyone was so very kind to me.
Some people on charge could be nicer and do their job and not be on personal phones then tell how understaffed and busy they are, very rude and not caring !
The 2nd floor OB nurses and cleaning ladies were all very sweet and very caring. The food was good as well lol. only issue I had was the nurses the tried to draw blood from my fiance while she was in labor blew out her veins several times. other than that there were no issues.
