Bait & Switch, when you talk to them on the phone they tell you yes, 100%, they have the car you are looking for right there on the lot. When you get there, oops, sorry, we can get that one for you in a few days, lets test drive this one. After test driving the one you did not want and deciding to make an adjustment for time sake, oops, this one is sold but we have one just like it. Gotta say that I'm impressed with the service department. I brought my van in for what I thought was a warranty issue. As it turns out it was a general wear and tear thing. But...as a goodwill gesture, Hendrick took care of the issue under warranty, anyway. And didn't charge me for the oil change I had also requested. Never in my life have I had a dealership do such a thing for me. Way to build a relationship, guys! I'll definitely be spreading the word about the great service!
We just got our 4th car from this dealership and it was the easiest purchase yet! Carlos B. was awesome to work with and he got us the exact car we were looking for. When I went there I got the typical song and dance about how it was their best offer and then just couldn't go lower and the salesguy would speak to the manager and then see about shaving off a few dollars. If you don't want to play the games either goto a different dealership or call around to see what other places are selling cars for so that you can just walk in and tell them what they need to beat.
