amazing breakfast! – We met out-of-town friends for our first visit to Hell's kitchen with our two-year-old in tow. The food was WONDERFUL, the service was very good, and the atmosphere (keep in mind it was a slow Monday morning) was actually very child friendly. Our server brought a whole tackle box of books and toys to keep our little one entertained throughout the meal ... how great is that? We will most certainly go back!
Excellent Breakfast! – We went there for breakfast and the food was unbelieveable! My only complaint was that the waiter was very rude.
Good brunch – Dined here for brunch on a recent Sunday. The lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious. The servers were all dressed in pajamas and I liked the hellish decor. Had reservations for 9 am and the place was full when we left. The service was good until the end when we needed our check and the place was busy. I would definitely go back!
Expensive and average – This is an average Steak joint. The food was good, but its good in 5 or 6 other places just like this one. It was over-priced. The jazz club was great but I advise you to check out other restaurants if you want a great steak. Prices here are just too high.
Go to Hell's Kitchen – This new restaurant is a real find, if hell is anything like this, sign me up. Judging by the crowds for Sunday brunch, the gospel of "damn good food" is spreading fast. This is food with attitude, nothing ordinary here. I truely enjoyed the Scrambled Eggs with Lobster my first vist. On subsequent visits I discovered a delicious Walleye Hash and the all ready famous Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes. Do I dare say they were heavenly! On my last visit my companion ordered the Cyn-Ful Breakfast, it promised to be '... read more
You gotta try this place !! – We tried Rossi's for dinner their first Friday night, and we were blown away by the atmosphere, the service, and the food (Best steak ever - sorry Manny's). Try the large Filet, served on a grilled tomato slice with bearnaise sauce - WOW!!! The jazz club is sure to be the cities hottest spot for live jazz. Out of the way, but well worth the trip!!!
best of the best – Why is it that breakfast restaurants are rarely reviewed? My co-workers "took me to hell" for breakfast this morning and I'm still in awe of this restaurant on 10th Street. Our waiter was fun yet knew his stuff, and the toasted sausage bread he recommended was out of this world. Let's see: homemade peanut butter, homemade preserves, homemade hot chocolate (find THAT anywhere these days) and I think they said they even make their own ketchup. YEP I'll go back again 'cause if this is hell I'm not behaving an... read more
First, and Last, visit – Over 1 hour to receive lunch Monday, April 21. Our food took OVER 1 HOUR to be served. A couple came in, sat next to us, and left after 15 minutes with no server activity at all. Another table of two came in after our table of three, and were close to finished with their meals before our food came. The slow wait time was due to 'your burger is taking a long time.' Not sure why a burger takes 1 hour to prepare. I had to fetch our server from the kitchen to pay for our meal. I had asked for the check, ... read more
slooooooooowwww – Good thing I wasn't late for work on the day I went, or I never would have made it!! 4 other tables were busy at 9am and we waited for everything. Long wait to get a menu, long wait to get our order taken, longer wait to get below average/over priced food.
