Block basement wall bowing. Called Helitech. Within 24 hours ***** came to diagnose problem. As per the recommendations they were here within a week. ******* ****** V explained in detail the bracing technique and with the help of ****** N, ******* B and ****** O, they began by covering any flooring which could be damaged with getting the necessary equipment into the basement. contracted this company back in 2019 to address foundation issues, the work they did was subpar. I approached them to see if they would address the issue under warranty. I had two contractors do an assessment and they both commented on the lackluster quality and installation of a crack repair with epoxy and carbon fiber patch. Helitech was unwilling too properly correct this resulting in me hiring a different company to do the repair. In making a sale to me, the Helitech salesman failed to mention several things I needed to do that I only learned later and after the project had already started: providing pics before the work started showing items had been moved from wall, hiring a professional locator to identify water, sewer and electrical lines, moving a water heater, moving a gas pipe, adding electrical outlets. Contacted Helitech in Sept about work to repair cracks to basement walls. Met with **** ****** on Sept. 10 he surveyed the work and prepared a proposal, this item was signed and a check for $1,020.00 deposit was given to him on Sept 19. **** stated **** would contact me regarding scheduling the work. **** did contact me and a list of dates that would NOT work was given to her.
