helene rocks! – shes so great duriing my visit i learned so much about about my face, skin, and better make up application. when i asked for a half inch trim thats exactly what she gave me. she is understanding, and is always willing to help if you have any questions. just liike me she gets up in the morning to put on makeup and helps me to find a more efficent way.
You leave looking better than before. – Helene knows her business, which is to make you look your best. Even if you're not the most gorgeous gal in town, she knows how to help you make the most of what you've got. Plus, there's the father/son dog duo to entertain you the whole time.

Never have an ugly day! – Helene Rene has a unique service that is both personal and professional. She came to my house to cut my sister's hair when she had cancer. I don't know of anyone else who would do that. She encourages you to communicate with your hairdresser, and even teaches you how. Because she's on Union Street, there is always somewhere to go for dinner or lunch after.
Helen Rene Salon is UNpretentious and Understated. Proprietor and Hairstylist Helene Rene is very sincere with her clients, an active listener and compassionate towards her client. Helene is a TRUE San Franciscan at heart. Helene Rene Salon is a treasure...the best kept secret in San Francisco.
She's a keeper! – She is the best!!! She is the only person I will allow near my hair and has been my hairdresser, confidant, baby watcher and entertainer for over 12 years. She's seen me through spiral perms, hair coloring, highlighting and, of course, cutting and styling. Helene is the only person who has cut my daughter's hair (18months) and my daughter loves her, not crying. She sits very quietly and let's Helene cut. She did this even when she was an infant. She is the best and the only!!!!
