Learned more then ever – I travel for a living so I cannot keep the same hairdresser. In other words I have been to many. This is the first time I learned so much about hair skin and make-up. I also got a great cut and body wave. I plan to return to her even if I have to plan a special trip
The best Hair & Make-up experience I had – Another hairdresser really messed up my hair. Thank god I found Helene She advised me to use a specific treatment on my hair before she would touch it. I thought not another product but I was desperate I did it. After one time I saw a difference. I GOT THE LATEST LOOK IN A COLOR & CUT – I BROGHT IN A PICTURE AND HELENE ANALYZED MY FACE AND WE DETERMINED THAT THE LOOK WOULD WORK FOR ME. i COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT I GOT COLOR AND A BODYWAVE ALL IN ONE DAY! SHE SENT ME HOME WITH A COMPLETE HAIR CARE SYSTEM AND I WAS SHOCKED AT HOW RESONABLE IT ALL WAS.
very personal – Helene always has time for the personal touch... there's never a room full of women in various stage of processing. Its just your personal hair stylist taking care of YOU.
Best colorist in the Bay Area – Been a client for over twenty years. Perfect color every time, and I always leave the decisions to her. Also a great makeup artist and teacher. She shows clients how to use the products to make themselves look terrific!
Nope- sorry! – Can't recommend, sorry... trying too hard to sell her products, dogs running around licking everything, not a great haircut, just below average
Helene Rene Salon Best in SF – Absolutely the best. I've been going there for years and Helene Rene is great. Good colorist. Great stylist. And Make-up artist. She even sells her own line of make-up and a complete line of Redken products. A one-stop shop. Plus fun location on Union Street.
She dropped the ball! – Yikes! My wedding day, and Helene wasn't with it! I was so disappointed in my up-do--which we had practiced--as was my bridesmaid. Plus, I was late for the church!
Experienced – Helene has been in the biz a lot longer than the young hipsters at over-priced salons in the Haight. And unlike so many stylists, she wasn't multi-tasking with several clients at once...I had her full attention the entire time. She really listens and offers honest advice. My hair has never felt more healthy and soft. Best haircut and most natural highlights ever!
