great cut and color – Tried Helene Rene Salon on the recommendation of a friend. My hair has never looked better. The highlights were perfect and the cut very flattering. I have never received so many good comments after a cut and color. Thanks Helene.
Ruined my hair! – Do not go here! I've had my hair highlighted for 18 years and had my worst experience ever at this salon. Helene ruined my hair and when I went back to get it corrected, she damaged it further. She talks too much and doesn't pay attention to what she is doing.
BEST SECRET ON UNION ST. – WHILE VISITNG SF MY FAMILY AND I STOPPED BY FOR A FREE CONSULTATION. EVERYONE DECIDED TO TAKE HELENE'S ADVICE AND HAVE OUR HAIR DONE. THE GIRLS ALSO HAD THEIR MAKE-UP DONE. WE WISH WE COULD FLY HER TO LA TO DO OUR HAIR. HER PRICES ARE REASONABLE. SHE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE ATMOSPHERE IS RELAXING. GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT – I drive Helene crazy I am sure and always walk out with a smile. I bring in pictures I tell Helene what I want. she listens, she explains all the pros and cons we work out the perfect result She does up to date hair cuts. She throws in make-up tips and hair tips. She is always interested in pleasing me and watching out for my pocketbook.My hair has never felt and looked better. Her skin care and make-up is fab! As busy as she is she always finds a way to accomodate me.
Great Work – Helene is very intuitive and actually listens to what you want. She is inexpensive considering the amount of time she spends consulting with you about what you expect from her.
AWESOME – She's the Best! Only one who I will let cut, color, and perm my hair in over 13 years. She uses the best products and whatever she does comes out perfect. Niow she cuts my daughter's hair and has been since my daughter was 6 months old. Now she's 2 and loves Helene, not to mention the dogs. What a great distraction for her while I get my hair cut. Who needs toys when you have dogs to entertain a child.
Best make-up class ever – I needed a makeover! Helene went step-by step teaching me proper techniques of applying my cleanser toner moistrizer a masque. She even had my feet soaking then showed me how to use a scrub on my feet and hands. They felt like a baby. Onto step by step make-up, what colors to wear and what hairstyle and hair color is best for me. She showed me a two minute updo. I felt renewed. I looked glamorous.
