Highly personalized hair and makeup services in a comfortable setting. – In Short Since 1985, owner Renè has been welcoming customers into her sunny studio for full beauty treatments, including hair cuts, color, styling, and make-up application lessons. Services include a post-consultation, where Renè is available to advise clients by phone on how to re-create the "salon look" themselves. The salon carries Redken hair care products and the owner's signature line of skin care products.
FIRST TIME, LOVE MY HAIR!! – I found Helene on Citysearch. I was very nervous. We talked. She showed we picutres. I had a glass of wine and munchies. Helene cut my hair off. I was shocked. When she took off the cape and I looked at myself. I said"This is the best." I finally found someone who listened and got it the first time. She did my make up. Wow. Everyone I know and strabgers have asked me where I got my hair done. She has a lot of knowledge about hair , color and make-up. Call her!! Prices are reasonable.
Fabulous colorist and more – I rate Helene as one of the best colorist.I have lived in New York, LA, Denver. It was not time for a cut but I can just tell Helene is going to be great. She did such a long consultation to make sure we both new exactly what I wanted. She served me wine and goodies. I bought everything and she did not push the products. She taught me so much. The salon is in a great location. I will go back there that is for sure. Her prices are very fair. She even touched up my make-up
Helene listened to me and did what I wanted. – Helene is really concerned about my needs. She gave me a consultation like no one else has. Her place is relaxing and upbeat. She showed me how to do my make up when my haircolor was on. I learned so much. She guarantees her work. It was not hard to park there. Her hours are very flexible, She did not rush to get me in and out.
Fabulous, I tried something new and love it – I thought I new what I wanted I told Helene asked her what she thought? She said she was going to suggest something different then we'd decide. She was right I am not one to change quickly but I always think I want the latesest. I am so glad I did. Her prices are good for what you will recieve. She is friendly her place comfortable. She is very knowledgeable. All of my friends were shocked and loved it!
Helene is a hairdress make-up artist to trust – My hair is curly I was happy to see Helene's style to be natural. Her hair curly long healthy and her mak-up natural. I have had a problem finding someone to cut my curly hair. Helene cut it showed me how to syle it with minimal freeze, then straightened it at a reasonable price. She gave me a step by step make up class including a mini facial. She has a way of educating without hard selling. I bought everthing.
I GOT THE STYLE I ASKED FOR – Helene really listened to my needs gave suggestions and did exactly what I decided I wanted . She has so much knowledge to offer. Helene included make-up tips. She even added if there was something I did not like I had a week to change it since she wants me to be happy. No one has ever show that much concern. I am extremely upset with my hair! – I have curly hair. Not the ringlet type, but hair that has a mind of it's own. She cut it in a bunch of layers and it looks really dry. I look like I walked out of the 80's. She gave me big hair. Big, unruly hair. It will take quite awhile to grow out. If you have curly hair, one tip to remember is - don't go with lots of little layers, unless you're looking for a really weird shag. I think that a lot of her recommendations are phony.
