Poor service department with lazy or uneducated duramax mechanics brought my 2014 3500 duramax in on 2/27/18 for a exhaust/fuel smell in the cab while the exhaust is cleaning or “regeneration” at stop lights. I looked up any recalls or tsb’s on the truck and found a tsb “PI0235H” that is directly related to my complaint. Ive been in the market for a car since Christmas time. I actually bought a used one from a different dealership. Within 3 hours of owning it the transmission was pulling, and the power steering went while I was driving. Sounds almost unbelievable, but I wish I were making it up.
