I have been to Heaven Scent many time through the years and always have a great experience with great food! However, I just left this place feeling like I was putting the woman working the window out because I wanted to order some donuts. She was less than pleasant and then not only left an item off that I had ordered so she had to charge us twice, but when we were driving away we realized that she had shorted us a dollar in change. Awesome place to get special cakes. Best French pastries ever!!
My family goes to this bakery frequently for everything sweet. Product is always good, but lately service has lacked much to be desired. The clerks are always crabby/rude and mess up our order. When we drive all the way back from Troy for the fix we are not even given so much as a cookie or discount or anything for the inconvenience. Yesterday we were greatly overcharged and when we tried to talk to clerk about it she was rude and it took forever for her to figure it out finally and correct the $9 overcharge. �

First Time to go to heaven scent we were just passing thru this is the best bakery I have ever been in .I use to go to a bakery 40 yrs ago when I was in elementary school in Maine and as soon as I opened the door of heaven scent the smell brought back a lot of great memories. I recently moved to the O'Fallon area from south county (where we have McArthurs Bakery) and today was my first experience in your bakery. I am in complete shock that this business has been around for so long and has won so many "awards". The customer service was absolutely terrible. It felt like I was an inconvenience to be waiting on. That's a shame. There's a reason we're successful, we really are that good. Because in the old days if there was a problem people would call and give us a chance to fix the problem. Like when did this happen, who was your server? Then I could address it. Now they would rather go public because of one employee and tell the world. How does this help? Had you just called, I could have made it right, corrected the bad employee and that would be a win win. I'm truly sorry you had this experience.
