Unprofessional behavior Is normal for Heartland Regional Emergency Room. Emergency department team communication is a recognised problem and has serious impact on workplace performance, productivity and patients personal wellbeing. Forgot about a waiting patient during shift change. So I walked up to the hospital and 2 security guards where sitting there smarting off to people and being hatful to the elderly and handicapped people. Then I walked in, they told me I had to wear a mask I said no I don’t do to the ada act and then then said I had to give them my phone number. I laughed and said no, then they said I had to wear a name tag. Guess what I said no. I have what could be a life threatening issue, The staff will not give me my results, they won't send them to my doctor, and they fabricated a story as to who to call and how to get them and this was total lies and bs. I cannot get treatment without the results, and you can bet I will never return there even if I am dying nor will I recommend them. The staff was rude, even more so on phone and they refuse to be helpful while I deal with this potentially deadly situation.

We had an unexpected dely in our trip home and we needed medical attention and Heartland was the closest hospital. Heartland went above and beyond for my family. The medical staff is amazing 🙌 And to Lee Ann who was in registering department, thank you! My son fractured his wrist and Dr Kempegowda got him in the same day and got a cast on him. However we were right back after my son totally went against all rules and got his cast WET. Dr Kempegowda and his staff were very polite, understanding prompt on getting him back in to be recasted. Thank you for taking such good care of my son!! Great staff and highly recommend!
