We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

My favorite spot in Houston with a beautiful atmosphere! Excellent drinks, incredible staff and great food selection.
The Hearsay has great ambiance and excellent and timely service. The food was AMAZING and the serving were generous portions. Our waitress was fun and well versed in the menu. We highly recommend the chefs platter (sampler) appetizer and wine choices during happy hour.
My boyfriend and I went last night for an early Valentine's Day dinner, while we didn't eat off that prepared menu(it was a little to out of my comfort zone to try) we did both get the ribeye. It was delicious aside from being a tad over cooked. Simone was our waitress and she is the best! Very attentive despite being pretty busy. Oh and you're going to get an appetizer get the calamari and shrimp. I don't know where they get their shrimp but it was the most flavorful shrimp I've ever tasted.
The Byrd burger was excellent! Signature drinks were pretty good too! The building and decor is really neat. Great place for a date or a night out with friends or clients. Note, they do charge $10 to park.
Great food, great ambiance, and I loved the live band on Sunday!
