We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

Great, relaxing restaurant. Rob, our waiter was very attentive to my dinner guests. Knew the entire menu, easily was able to suggest items on the menu as well as answer questions that we had. Was able to suggest cocktails based on whether my guests or myself liked sweet vs not so sweet. The entrees he suggest were fantastic. I got the lamb chops and delicious. Great scene, a lot smaller than we expected. Does not look like the pictures on the website. We initially had "Audrey" as a waiter when we were inside the restaurant, on point great service he was very attentive. The food looked amazing but unfortunately I did not think it tasted great I would actually give the food a 5 out of 10.
